Ricky D Garner

Financial Planner / Investment Advisor Representative 

 

Ricky is the founder of GPS Financial Strategies, LLC. As an Upstate South Carolina native, Ricky grew up, attended college, and began his business in Greenville, SC. Graduating with Bachelor's Degrees in both philosophy and political science from Clemson University in 2000, he went on to earn his MBA from The University of Phoenix in 2012.

He also enjoys spending most of his free with time with his wife, Amy, and their two young children, Brock and Emmaree.  When leisure time is available, it is ususually spent on the golf course or supporting his beloved Clemson Tiger athletics! Giving back to his community is something very important as well.  While supporting several local projects and organizations, Ricky has also given his time and experience to the Boards of Directors for Operation Freedom Awareness, Lutheran Church of Our Savior congregational council.  He is a current member for the Board of Tara's Tribe, a local non-profit based in Anderson, SC providing support for single-parent families battling life threatening illnesses.  Ricky also serves as a current member of the Board of Governors for the Commerce Club in downtown Greenville.

With nearly a decade of experience as a financal planner and investment advisor, and over 20 years in small business and coorperate finance, he takes great pride in providing his clients with exceptional services and relationships.
